Great to meet you!

I’m Shuntai Walker (Hill), MA, LPC, NCC, a Licensed Professional Counselor helping women and teen girls ages 13–17 navigate depression, anxiety, OCD, trauma, forgiveness, and life transitions. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, struggling with intrusive thoughts, or adjusting to a new chapter, I offer a warm, supportive space to feel heard and begin moving forward.

I earned my master’s degrees from Liberty University and Spring Arbor University and am currently pursuing a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision at Adler University. I’m accepting new clients and welcome the opportunity to support you or your daughter.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connections between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and develop skills to respond differently to everyday challenges.

For clients with OCD, I use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). Together, we gradually practice facing fears and uncertainty while resisting compulsions that keep the OCD cycle going.

I tailor therapy to each client’s needs and goals. Whether working with women or teen girls, I focus on building trust, encouraging meaningful progress, and helping clients use what they learn beyond our sessions.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. We’ll discuss what brings you to therapy, how your concerns affect your daily life, and what you hope will change. You don’t need to have the right words or share everything at once.

I’ll ask about your history, current challenges, strengths, and support system. We’ll also review confidentiality, answer your questions, and identify initial goals. For teen clients, we’ll discuss how parents or caregivers can support treatment while respecting the teen’s privacy. My goal is for you to leave with a clearer understanding of how we can work together and what comes next.
