Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome. Are you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or perhaps navigating a season of life that feels heavier than usual? It takes immense courage to seek support, and I want you to know that no matter what you are facing, there is hope. I have a special passion for working others, offering a nonjudgmental environment where your feedback is always welcomed. Whether this is your first experience with therapy or you’re returning after time away, I will meet you where you are. I believe you are the expert on your own life— you’re in the driver’s seat, and my role is to walk alongside you, offering gentle guidance, insight, and tools to help you move toward the life you want.

My approach to therapy

I believe a strong therapeutic relationship is one of the most important factors in successful therapy. For that reason, I prioritize creating a space where you feel comfortable, respected, and supported. Building trust is always my first goal, as meaningful change happens best within a safe and collaborative relationship.

My approach is flexible and tailored to your individual needs and goals. I draw from a variety of evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, psychoeducation, somatic exercises, narrative therapy, mindfulness-based strategies, coping skills development, emotional regulation, and stress management techniques. I work from a trauma-informed, strengths-based, and person-centered perspective.

I have a particular interest in supporting older adults and individuals navigating grief and loss, chronic illness, and life transitions. I offer gentle, thoughtful feedback to support growth, always delivered with care and respect for the therapeutic alliance and your comfort level.

What you can expect from me

We will begin with an intake session to get to know one another and discuss what brings you to therapy. I will ask questions about your history, current concerns, and goals, and you may complete assessment tools to help clarify symptoms, support diagnosis when appropriate, and guide treatment planning.

Together, we will develop treatment goals that feel meaningful and realistic for you. I believe therapy works best when it is collaborative, so we will also talk about what you expect from me as your therapist and what you need in order to feel supported. This helps ensure we are aligned and working toward the same outcomes. Throughout our work, I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space, move at a comfortable pace, and welcome your questions and feedback along the way.
