Family Issues and Trauma

Great to meet you!

I am a trauma-informed therapist with over 5 years of experience helping people with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. I enjoy learning about people and using their strengths to support their treatment goals. My mindfulness-based education greatly informs my therapeutic role. I like to combine evidenced-based practices with holistic approaches to help others enhance the quality of their lives.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My style of therapy will be based on your mental health treatment goals that we establish together. Your goals and communication style will lead each session while I support you with a mindfulness-based, trauma-informed approach. My degree is in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with a concentration in Transpersonal Art Therapy, so if you are interested in using art materials during session, I would be happy to work this into your treatment.

What you can expect from our first session

I want you to know that although we will determine goals and use diagnoses to inform treatment, that I will be viewing our therapeutic relationship as much greater and brighter than your presenting problems and labels. There are so many ways to heal and grow, and we can figure this out together!
