Great to meet you!

Hi there! I am a licensed psychologist and completed a doctorate degree in clinical psychology from Adelphi University. I use evidence-based approaches like cognitive-behavioral therapy when working with clients. I specialize in the treatment of individuals with OCD, anxiety disorders, and substance use difficulties, as well as families of individuals who struggle in these ways.

My approach to therapy

Our work together is collaborative. We’ll shape the structure and focus of each session based on what feels most helpful and relevant to you, so that the process truly fits your needs and goals. I see myself as a guide, someone who helps you go where you want to go. The work is guided by your pace, ensuring that the process feels comfortable and aligned with what makes sense for you. I have lots of tools and strategies that research and experience have shown to be effective, but you will decide whether these resonate with you. I strive to create a safe and affirming space, where you feel accepted and understood.

What you can expect from me

I’ll encourage you to challenge yourself in ways that feel manageable and purposeful, while also holding a genuine belief in your ability to grow and overcome difficulties. Along the way, we’ll celebrate the steps you take to care for yourself, whether they feel small or significant.
