Great to meet you!

Choosing a therapist is a personal decision, and I believe you deserve someone who will meet you with compassion, curiosity, and respect. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe to be yourself—without judgment—and where we can work together to better understand the challenges you're facing and the strengths you already possess.

I hold a master's degree in Addictions and Rehabilitation Counseling and am a license professional clinical counselor in the Minnesota. Before becoming a therapist, I earned my medical degree in Mexico, an experience that deepened my appreciation for the connection between emotional and physical well-being.

My approach to therapy

I believe that every person makes sense within the context of their life experiences. Rather than focusing on labels, I take time to understand your story, your relationships, and the patterns that may no longer be serving you. Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by intense emotions, struggling with self-worth, navigating complicated relationships, or wondering why they keep repeating the same painful cycles. My role is to help you make sense of those experiences with compassion rather than judgment.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based therapies such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and Adlerian psychology. I also believe that lasting change comes from understanding not only how to manage difficult emotions, but also where those emotions come from. Together, we'll develop practical tools to help you regulate emotions, strengthen relationships, establish healthy boundaries, and build a stronger sense of self while exploring the deeper experiences that have shaped who you are.

What you can expect from me

I strive to create a therapeutic relationship where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted. Healing doesn't require you to become someone different—it begins with learning to understand yourself with greater kindness, courage, and self-compassion. My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you can safely grow into a life that feels more balanced, authentic, and aligned with your values.
