Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Sonya Robb-Montas, a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and founder of Mighty Minds Psychiatry. I believe everyone deserves to feel heard, understood, and supported throughout their mental health journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is compassionate, collaborative, holistic, and evidence-based. I believe effective mental health treatment begins with listening, building trust, and understanding each person as a whole—not simply focusing on symptoms or a diagnosis.

I take time to understand your unique experiences, emotional well-being, physical health, lifestyle, relationships, and personal goals. Together, we develop an individualized treatment plan that may include psychiatric evaluation, medication management, psychotherapy, and practical coping strategies to support your overall well-being.

I believe in shared decision-making, ensuring you feel informed, comfortable, and empowered throughout your treatment journey. My goal is not only to help reduce symptoms but also to strengthen resilience, improve daily functioning, and support lasting emotional wellness.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a welcoming, judgment-free space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported. We'll discuss your concerns, explore your goals, and work together to create a personalized treatment plan. Come as you are—your story matters, and your journey to better mental health starts here
