About Me

You may be carrying something heavy — trauma, grief, fear, a past that keeps showing up in your present. I’ve spent over fifteen years sitting with people in some of the hardest moments of their lives, and I believe healing is possible, even when it feels far away.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Doctorate in Social Work, specializing in trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and complex mental health needs. Much of my career has been devoted to Veterans and individuals navigating serious life challenges, including experiences of violence, loss, and crisis — across inpatient psychiatric, VA, forensic, and community mental health settings.

What I Can Help With

• Trauma and PTSD, including military and sexual trauma

• Depression, anxiety, and Panic Disorder

• Major life transitions and adjustment challenges

• Personality disorders and grief

Background

DSW, Walla Walla University. MSW, Portland State University. Certified in EMDR and forensic social work. Member of ATSA, OATSA, and the National Forensic Social Work Association.

My approach to therapy

My work is grounded in attachment-based therapy — the idea that our earliest relationships shape how we connect, how we see ourselves, and how we respond to the world. Understanding those patterns is often the key to changing them. From that foundation, I draw on EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and trauma-informed approaches, tailored to what makes sense for you.

I bring warmth and directness to my work, and I’m committed to creating a space where you feel safe enough to do hard things.
