Great to meet you!

“Helping adults and teens build confidence and cope with life’s challenges”

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (TX-18072) with a PhD and over 15 years of clinical experience helping adults and teens navigate life’s challenges. Alongside my private practice, I’ve worked extensively in school and community settings, supporting students and parents through stress, behavioral struggles, and emotional hurdles. This experience gave me unique insight into how anxiety, confidence, and relationships impact both home life and school performance — and how to create real, lasting change across both.

My approach to therapy

Who I Work With I partner with people at many different life stages, especially:

  • Teens struggling with confidence, academic pressure, peer relationships, OCD, or managing mood & self-esteem.
  • Adults who feel stuck in anxiety, depression, OCD, or aren’t sure how to cope with transitions — career changes, grief, loss, or relationship shifts.
  • Parents who want clearer communication, healthier boundaries, or relief from feeling overwhelmed.
  • Professionals / Educators dealing with burnout, work-life fit, and stress related to both home & job.

I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, tailoring each session to your needs. I am also trained in ERP (Exposure Response Prevention) used with OCD and Phobias. Clients describe me as approachable, compassionate, and collaborative.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, so my goal in our first meeting is to make you feel comfortable and heard. We’ll begin by talking about what brought you in, what you’d like to change, and any concerns you may have. I’ll ask some questions to get to know you better — your background, what’s working well, and where you feel stuck.
