My therapeutic style uses Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), as well Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Somatic Therapy (think mind-body connection) to help you overcome Binge Eating Disorder, Bulimia Nervosa and other mental health disorders, such as past trauma, depression, and anxiety that impact your relationship with food and how you feel about your body!
I create a warm and accepting environment that uses compassion in order connect with my clients! My treatment style uses Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), which is a mixture of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Practice, and use of non-judgment in order to support client's in reaching their goals! Research shows that nearly 90% of people who stick with DBT, stop binge eating by the end of treatment! DBT has also been effective in treating body image concerns.
