Great to meet you!

Dr. Stella Chinonyerem Nnabugwu is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree. She brings extensive experience in psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and evidence-based treatment for individuals across the lifespan. Her clinical focus is on delivering holistic, patient-centered care that integrates nursing science, collaborative teamwork, and innovative interventions to improve mental health outcomes and treatment adherence.

My approach to therapy

Her approach integrates comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and evidence-based interventions tailored to individuals across the lifespan. She emphasizes a balance between clinical expertise and compassionate care, ensuring that treatment plans are both effective and aligned with each client’s personal values and circumstances.

What you can expect from me

Initial consultations are conducted by our intake team rather than directly with a provider to ensure faster scheduling. During this brief call, our administrative staff will answer general (non-clinical) questions, collect basic information, and help match you with the most appropriate provider.

While you may request a specific provider, pre-appointment consultation calls with clinicians are not available. All clinical discussions, recommendations, and treatment planning will take place during your scheduled appointment.

This process allows us to prioritize direct patient care while offering timely access to services.

Clients can expect their first session with Dr. Stella Chinonyerem Nnabugwu to be welcoming, supportive, and focused on building a strong therapeutic foundation. She creates a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable sharing their concerns, experiences, and goals.
