Great to meet you!

Welcome — I’m Stephanie, a clinical mental health therapist dedicated to helping individuals find clarity, healing, confidence, and balance in the midst of life’s challenges. I believe therapy should be both supportive and empowering — a space where clients feel safe enough to be honest, challenged enough to grow, and understood without judgment.

My background uniquely blends counseling, education, leadership, and career development. Alongside my work in mental health, I have extensive experience in educational leadership and working with adolescents, adults, professionals, and families navigating stress, transition, identity, relationships, and personal growth. This perspective allows me to connect with clients who may be balancing demanding careers, academic pressure, family responsibilities, emotional exhaustion, or major life changes.

I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, stress management, self-esteem, emotional regulation, relationship concerns, burnout, and life transitions. I am especially passionate about supporting individuals who are high-functioning on the outside yet internally struggling with overwhelm, perfectionism, people-pleasing, or feeling disconnected from themselves.

Seeking therapy is a courageous step, and I deeply value the trust clients place in the therapeutic relationship. My goal is to help individuals not only cope, but truly grow — developing greater self-awareness, emotional wellness, healthier relationships, and a stronger sense of purpose and fulfillment in their lives.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is compassionate, collaborative, and practical. I strive to create an environment where clients feel comfortable exploring difficult emotions while also building concrete tools for change. I utilize evidence-based strategies while tailoring treatment to each individual’s unique needs, strengths, and goals.

What you can expect from me

The first therapy session is designed to help clients feel comfortable, supported, and understood while beginning to build a strong therapeutic relationship. Clients can expect a welcoming, judgment-free environment where they are encouraged to share at their own pace without pressure or expectation to “have everything figured out.”

During the first session, we will discuss what brought them to therapy, current concerns or challenges, important life experiences, emotional patterns, stressors, and any goals they may have for treatment. This conversation helps create a clearer understanding of their unique experiences, strengths, and needs so therapy can be personalized in a meaningful and effective way.

Clients can also expect to talk about areas such as relationships, work or school stress, family dynamics, coping strategies, mental health history, and overall emotional wellness. While the first session includes gathering background information, it is equally focused on creating connection, trust, and emotional safety.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and authentic. I want clients to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful — with the understanding that therapy is a process where growth happens over time, not all at once. Together, we begin identifying practical tools, helpful insights, and realistic goals that can support lasting change and personal growth.
