Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome. I'm a licensed social worker dedicated to providing a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, supported, and empowered. I believe that every person has unique strengths, and my role is to help you build on those strengths while navigating life's challenges.

My professional experience includes working with individuals in community mental health, correctional healthcare, and crisis settings, supporting people facing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship concerns, stress, and other complex life circumstances. These experiences have strengthened my ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds while providing trauma-informed, person-centered care.

I hold a degree in Social Work and use evidence-based approaches tailored to each client's individual needs. My therapeutic style is collaborative, warm, and practical. Together, we will identify your goals, develop effective coping strategies, and work toward meaningful, lasting change at a pace that feels right for you.

Whether you're seeking support during a difficult time, looking to better understand yourself, or hoping to create positive changes in your life, I would be honored to be part of your journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your unique needs. I believe that therapy is most effective when you feel safe, respected, and genuinely understood. My goal is to create a supportive environment where you can openly explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without fear of judgment.

I use a person-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed approach, recognizing that every individual's experiences and goals are different. I incorporate evidence-based techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness strategies, depending on what best fits your needs and preferences.

Whether you're working through anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, stress, or major life transitions, we'll work together to identify patterns that may be holding you back, build practical coping skills, and develop meaningful, achievable goals. I believe lasting change comes from a combination of self-awareness, self-compassion, and taking small, intentional steps forward.

Above all, I view therapy as a partnership. You are the expert on your own life, and I'm here to provide guidance, support, and evidence-based tools to help you create the life you want.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a foundation of trust. We'll talk about what brought you to therapy, the challenges you're currently facing, and what you hope to achieve. I'll also ask questions about your personal history, relationships, and any previous experiences with therapy to better understand your unique perspective.

There's no pressure to share everything right away. We will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. My priority is to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and respected.

By the end of our first session, we'll identify some initial goals and discuss a plan for moving forward together. You'll have the opportunity to ask questions, share any concerns, and determine whether we're a good fit. My hope is that you'll leave feeling supported, understood, and with a clearer sense of the path ahead.
