Great to meet you!

Hello! I'm Stephanie and I am a mental health therapist who specializes in treating anxiety, stress, depression, OCD, and ADHD. Anxiety can show up in many ways such as through avoidance of social situations, through reassurance-seeking behaviors, or through perfectionistic tendencies. These challenges often arise during major life transitions or may be associated with relationship, school, or work-related concerns. I help my clients gain the tools they need to feel relief and to approach life in a more authentic way.

I have been in the field for over 10 years and I have a Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology. I am also a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional.

My approach to therapy

I primarily utilize techniques from the cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) perspective as well as from the acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) approach, but I modify my work to best suit the needs of my clients. I strongly believe in the rapport-building process and feel that a positive, trusting relationship is ultimately the key to growth.

What you can expect from me

As a therapist, it's important to me to be able to gently challenge my clients to question their thought processes and reevaluate their behaviors. My clients feel a sense of comfort and confidence to explore and confront their difficulties in a safe, therapeutic space. I aim to help clients learn ways to tolerate anxiety and discomfort, and ultimately respond in a healthier, more productive manner.
