Great to meet you!

As an LCSW and Certified Trauma Treatment Professional (CCTP), I bring over 20 years of experience to my therapy practice. I hold a degree from Northeastern University and a graduate degree from Simmons University, with extensive training in trauma work, women's health, and sexuality/sexual health. My expertise has led me to present at national conferences and teach at multiple universities, helping clients address deep-rooted trauma and navigate their mental and emotional well-being with compassion and knowledge. My approach is grounded in empathy, evidence-based practices, and a deep commitment to supporting individuals in their healing journey.

My approach to therapy

I work with clients using a holistic approach that combines experiential sensory-based practices, somatic inclusion, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, along with evidence-based trauma techniques. I meet clients where they are, honoring their pace and ensuring a comfortable, supportive environment. Recognizing the importance of whole-body wellness, I emphasize the connection between mind and body to foster healing and growth. My goal is to help clients integrate both physical and emotional well-being for lasting transformation.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to leave sessions with restored hope, practical solutions, and a deeper understanding of how their past experiences influence their present functioning. I work with clients to establish and adjust their goals as needed, ensuring they feel empowered and equipped to move forward. By the end of each session, they will gain new insights and experience a sense of clarity, with a "now it makes sense" moment to help them understand the "why" behind their struggles. This process fosters personal growth and the confidence to take meaningful steps forward.
