Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and doctoral candidate in clinical psychology, with a specialized focus on sexual health and sexual functioning. I work with adults who are experiencing challenges related to desire, arousal, performance, pain, or overall satisfaction in their sexual lives, as well as the emotional and relational impacts that often come with these concerns.

I also work with adolescents who are navigating questions around sexual self-esteem, body image, and developing a healthy, confident relationship with themselves. This stage of life can bring confusion, shame, or mixed messages, and I aim to provide a supportive, developmentally appropriate space where teens can build self-understanding, confidence, and respect for their own boundaries and values.

Many of my clients come in feeling frustrated, disconnected, or unsure how to talk about what they’re experiencing. Others may be navigating anxiety, shame, or relationship strain tied specifically to sexual concerns. My role is to create a space where these conversations feel normal, supported, and free of judgment.

My approach to therapy

My approach is direct, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I integrate cognitive-behavioral strategies, psychoeducation, and relational work, all within a sex-positive framework that affirms diverse experiences, identities, and expressions. I believe that sexual health is a core part of overall wellness, and therapy should reflect that openly, respectfully, and without shame.

I work well with individuals and couples who are ready to better understand their experiences and take meaningful steps toward change. Whether this is your first time in therapy or you’re looking for more specialized support, I aim to provide a space where you feel both understood and empowered to move forward.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a supportive, straightforward, and nonjudgmental space to begin talking about what’s bringing you in. We’ll start by getting a clear understanding of your concerns, your goals, and any relevant personal or relationship history—at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

Because I specialize in sexual health, I approach these conversations openly and matter-of-factly. You won’t need to filter or “find the right words”—part of my role is helping make these topics easier to talk about. I use a sex-positive, evidence-based approach that respects your values, boundaries, and individual experiences.

You can also expect me to be engaged and collaborative. I may ask direct questions, offer initial observations, and begin identifying patterns or contributing factors early on. My goal is not just to listen, but to help you start making sense of what’s happening and what change could look like.

By the end of the session, we’ll have a clearer direction for our work together, including potential focus areas and next steps. Most importantly, you’ll have a sense of whether this feels like the right fit for you—which is something I consider essential to effective therapy.
