Great to meet you!

Hello,

I earned my Masters in Social Work in 1995, prior to fostering or having our own biological children. Throughout my career, I've been passionate about helping children and their families. There are significant benefits in providing counseling support during home visits, yet I also appreciate the flexibility and convenience of virtual therapy.

My approach to therapy

I'm strength based and reflective in my approach. I've been endorsed through the Michigan Association of Infant Mental Health as an Infant Mental Health Specialist and Reflective Supervisor. I've been on the both the receiving end of services and as a provider of services and appreciate a collaborative and wholistic approach to issues that are brought to the therapeutic relationship.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my primary goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental space where you feel truly heard and supported. We will take a collaborative, wholistic look at what brings you to therapy, exploring both your current challenges and your inherent strengths.

Together, we will begin to outline meaningful goals tailored to your unique journey, ensuring you leave our first meeting with a clear sense of partnership and hope for the path forward.
