Great to meet you!

Welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. I received my Masters of Science in Counseling in 2013 from The Johns Hopkins University School of Education. I currently work with children (8+), adolescents and adults at all stages of their lives.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic style includes facets of CBT, and incorporates a variety of techniques based on my client's individual needs, including mindfulness and strength- based approaches.. Using active conversation and encouragement, my collaborative, client-centered approach helps my clients to gain a sense of their own individuality and uniqueness. With my support, I'd like to help create a safe, trusting environment where you can work on decreasing anxiety, increasing self-esteem, and feel more connected to yourself, others and your community.

What you can expect from me

Our first sessions will include gathering background information and making sure you feel supported and we are a good match for therapy. Within our first session we will discuss what made you want to begin therapy and possible goals you would like to work on.
