Great to meet you!

Healing begins when you feel seen, heard, and accepted. In a warm, welcoming, and compassionate space that supports exploration of your experiences without judgment, we can work together to help you reconnect with parts of yourself that may feel overwhelmed or disconnected, discover new facets of who you are meant to be, and cultivate greater well-being

My clinical perspective is shaped not only by my professional education and experience, but also by my own journey as a parent, cancer survivor, and caregiver to my spouse, whom I ultimately lost to cancer. These experiences have deepened my understanding of vulnerability, grief, resilience, and the importance of human connection. Healing involves discovering new sources of meaning, strength, wholeness, and hope amid life changes. Walking alongside others as they navigate their unique paths is an honor.

I have a particular passion for caregivers and helping professionals who devote so much of themselves to supporting others. I believe those who offer care and compassion deserve a space where they, too, can feel taken care of, understood, and nurtured.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is integrative and holistic, informed by my Master of Social Work (MSW) and an additional master's degree in Comparative Religion: Spirituality, Culture, and Health. I honor the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit, recognizing that growth and transformation encompass our emotional, physical, relational, and spiritual lives.

Methods I chiefly use include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Internal Family Systems, Self-Compassion practices, and Experiential therapies including expressive arts and somatic integration of the body. These evidence-based and experiential approaches foster increased self-awareness, psychological flexibility, emotional resilience, and values-aligned change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will have an hour to get to know one another and explore what brings you to therapy, what you hope to gain from our work together, and any questions or concerns you may have. I will ask you questions, as needed, to guide our conversation, and there's no pressure to share more than what feels comfortable. My goal is to listen deeply and help you feel at ease, respecting your autonomy so we create a plan that's aligned with your needs and goals.

If something in my approach resonates with you, I welcome the opportunity to connect, learn more about what brings you to therapy, and explore whether working together might feel like a good fit. And please know that wherever life finds you today, I extend warmth, compassion, and heartfelt blessings.
