Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Stephanie Littell and I am glad to meet you!

I am a licensed mental health counselor and substance use disorder professional and have been working in the field for 18 years. Throughout my time in this profession I have learned that in order to experience health and growth in an ever-changing world, everyone deserves to be treated as an individual of worth, capable of designing for themselves a life that reflects the inherent courage, wisdom, and strength that is present in all of us. It sometimes takes an opportunity to pause and assess one’s life course to get in touch with these qualities. The counseling room can serve as a necessary place of safety and calm needed to explore possibilities and mend historical wounds.

My approach to therapy

Individuals can have multiple challenges to face that can include both mental health and substance use concerns. Healing from these challenges requires an integrated approach that blends the best evidence-based practices designed to address some of the greatest obstacles in building an individualized program of recovery. I strive to be warm and welcoming in helping you to connect with and use the strength and empowerment that is already within you to reach your recovery goals.

What you can expect from me

I typically start with an introductory session where you can share your story and we can explore treatment goals to focus on. I create an environment that is friendly and motivating to encourage you to take action steps to move forward with your own individualized vision of what you want your life to be.
