Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and Perinatal Mental Health Certified (PMH-C) therapist, licensed in Virginia and North Carolina. I specialize in supporting women navigating anxiety, grief, trauma, and major life transitions. My background includes years of experience in community mental health, crisis counseling, and private practice, giving me a wide perspective on the challenges people face. Many of my clients come to me during seasons of change, adjusting to motherhood, coping with loss, or redefining their identity after difficult experiences.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) to help clients build resilience and self-compassion. I also integrate mindfulness-based strategies to support emotional regulation and present-moment awareness. Therapy with me is a safe space where you can bring your whole self without judgment. Together, we’ll explore what matters most to you and create practical steps toward living with more balance and clarity.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you, your story, your current challenges, and your goals for therapy. I’ll ask questions to better understand your needs, and you’ll have space to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. By the end of our session, we’ll have a plan for how to move forward together, and you’ll leave with a sense of what working with me will look like.
