Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome! I'm Stephanie Sweat, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). My passion is helping people find hope, healing, and practical strategies for navigating life's challenges.

I earned my Master of Social Work in 2016 and have experience working with adolescents and adults facing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, stress, relationship concerns, and emotional overwhelm. I strive to create a therapeutic environment where you feel safe, respected, and genuinely understood.

I believe therapy should be more than just talking about problems—it should leave you feeling empowered with new insight, healthier coping strategies, and confidence to move forward. Whether you're working through a specific challenge or simply looking to become the healthiest version of yourself, I'm honored to be part of that journey.

Reaching out for support is a courageous first step, and I look forward to helping you create meaningful, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your unique goals. I integrate evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, Brainspotting, mindfulness-based interventions, and strengths-based techniques to help clients process difficult experiences while building practical skills for lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is all about getting to know you. My goal is to create a welcoming, judgment-free space where you feel comfortable sharing your story at your own pace. We'll discuss what brought you to therapy, explore your current concerns, and identify your strengths, goals, and what you hope to gain from our work together.
