Great to meet you!

One of the advantages of choosing to work with me is that I have personal and professional experience with the support services I specialize in. You should never have a session with me and leave feeling as though ” I don’t get it” because I have likely had personal experiences or extensive professional experience with similar challenges you are facing.

My expertise is helping those with anxiety, depression, chronic illness, healthcare workers, caregivers, grief and loss, and dementia support.

My approach to therapy

I pride myself on my ability to make my clients feel understood and heard while helping them navigate the challenges life throws at us. I often take a direct approach to my work and love to sprinkle in humor. Therapy can be a scary leap for someone to make; my goal is to ensure my clients feel supported. I’ve been in those shoes, sitting with a “stranger” and feeling like you’re expected to tell them your story; that’s pretty damn intimidating. I'm just a real person helping other real people.

What you can expect from me

I’m here to take things at whatever pace you are comfortable with. My job as a therapist is to help guide you through a process that brings you back to a feeling of balance in life. I often do that by asking you questions and helping to provide different perspectives on situations, thoughts, and feelings you are experiencing.
