Stephanie L Washington LCMHC; License number 10237. I completed my Masters of Arts degree in Counseling at Webster University in 2010. I have required training and experience to practice individual, group, marriage and family counseling with all age groups encompassing a general range of presenting problems and concerns. I have extensive training in childhood trauma with certification in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

My approach to therapy

My approach is nonjudgmental, collaborative and active, and I enjoy getting to know my clients and working with you to create positive changes, moving away from despair and anxiety toward a life of authenticity and joy. I focus on my clients needs and together we develop a plan of treatment that is conducive to change as well as development of coping strategies and skills.

As a therapist I work with my my clients to creat goals that are relevant to their treatment. As a therapist I will facilitate behavioral change, improve the clients ability to establish and maintain relationships and promote the decision making process while facilitating client potential.
