Great to meet you!

This is the space for people who are high-functioning, capable, and quietly exhausted from always having to perform.

You may notice your body reacting before your thoughts catch up—tightness, racing ideas, feeling on edge, shutting down, or staying constantly “on.” Anxiety and unresolved stress often show up this way, affecting your focus, emotions, relationships, and sense of control—even when life looks fine on the outside.

These reactions aren’t random. They’re learned responses shaped by past experiences, responsibilities, and long-term stress—and they can change. I help adults and teens work through anxiety, trauma, and emotional overload by understanding these patterns and learning how to regulate them, so life doesn’t keep feeling this heavy.

My work is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and grounded in nervous-system regulation. I support clients who are used to being dependable, holding it together, or carrying a lot quietly. I’m bilingual (English/Spanish) and attentive to cultural values, family roles, and faith when those are meaningful to you. Christian-friendly support is available.

You don’t need to have everything figured out to start. If you’re ready to feel calmer, more grounded, and more in control of your emotions, you can schedule directly through my calendar. We’ll move at a pace that feels right for you.

My approach to therapy

My approach helps your mind and body feel calmer and more in sync. We focus on understanding how stress, past experiences, thoughts, emotions, and body reactions are connected—especially when anxiety or overwhelm keeps repeating the same patterns.

In sessions, we work on easing unhelpful thought loops, building skills to manage intense emotions, and learning ways to calm the body when stress shows up. When past experiences are involved, we move at a steady, supportive pace to help you feel safer and more in control in the present, without re-living what you’ve been through. Therapy is practical, structured, and focused on tools you can use between sessions so life feels more manageable over time.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an intake focused on understanding what’s been bringing you in and what you’re hoping to get from therapy. My goal is to create a comfortable, supportive space where you feel heard and at ease while we talk through your concerns, identify goals, and get a sense of whether working together feels like a good fit. We’ll move at a thoughtful pace and outline next steps in a way that feels clear and manageable.
