Great to meet you!

I started my journey in a residential therapy setting in 2012 working with adolescents and young adults struggling with things such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, low motivation, addictions, technology addictions, and anger issues. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and my Masters in Social Work was earned at the University of Hawaii.

My approach to therapy

I hold a belief that we as humans create unnecessary suffering in our life through the words we think/speak, the choices we make, and the social relationships we choose to engage in. I am open to helping you explore how to make changes to decrease the suffering in your life. I take a person-centered approach to our sessions so I’m not here to tell you what you have to do, but I would love to help you figure out what you want in life and motivate you to find out how you can achieve it.

What you can expect from me

It’s truly up to you how you would like our sessions to go. I have an extensive toolkit if you’re the type of person who enjoys learning new skills and leaving sessions with tangible tasks to follow through with. I am a great listener if you just need to vent and feel heard. I like being able to set small achievable goals each time we meet so you feel yourself making progress towards something you want out of life. I hope you feel both challenged and supported in our work together.
