Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Scott Ball, a licensed clinical mental health counselor with over 10 years of experience. I work alongside my clients in a collaborative, supportive way—focusing on trust, connection, and what truly matters to you. If connecting with the people you care about feels tough or life circumstances are leaving you feeling anxious or depressed, you don't have to go through it alone. I will support you in exploring barriers, navigating life challenges, expressing yourself more clearly, setting healthy boundaries, and strengthening relationships. I offer the opportunity to have a free 15-minute consultation so we can connect, talk about what you're looking for, and see if working together feels like the right fit. It’s a chance to ask questions, share what’s on your mind, and get a feel for how I work—no pressure, just a conversation. If you have Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance, feel free to give me a call to chat about rates and coverage details. I’m happy to walk you through what to expect and answer any questions you might have!

My approach to therapy

I specialize in supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds, including LGBTQ+ clients, in navigating life and relational stress, improving communication, and fostering meaningful connections. Using a warm, person-centered approach, I support clients through issues like anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, life transitions, career and marital challenges. I draw from evidence-based methods—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness—to help clients build insight, regulate emotions, and develop effective coping strategies. I strive to provide a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where clients can process emotions, gain insight, and foster meaningful personal growth.

What you can expect from me

I will offer you a warm, compassionate space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported. My focus is on truly listening to your experience, validating your emotions, and working collaboratively to develop effective strategies for managing life’s challenges. Taking the first step toward therapy is courageous. I’m honored to walk alongside you as you begin this journey and look forward to partnering with you.
