Great to meet you!

This is your growth and positive change opportunity. I have over 30 years of licensed clinical practice in a wide variety of client issues. At the base of almost every life challenge is fear, and although not always recognized as such, fear limits taking the steps forward to wellbeing and growth in all aspects of life. Everything is about relationship- how you related to yourself, to others and all that you do or don't do...

My approach to therapy

Through the counseling relationship, I help you to more clearly see yourself- including your strengths even if you're not using them fully, as well as where you might be counterproductive or even sabotaging yourself. You will build and expand skills to constructively manage your thinking, regulate your emotions and as a result enact the behaviors that promote achieving your personal goals.

What you can expect from me

By the end of the first session, you will take away a clearer understanding of how some of your thoughts and unregulated feelings can lead to behaviors that don't work for your wellbeing- or for healthy relationships of any kind. Change has to start with awareness- being able to identify the counterproductive thinking that limits personal growth, rewarding relationships and overall wellbeing. You will have started the essential first step toward change of identifying your "self-talk'' as either productive or counterproductive- and limit the automatic generating of such thoughts that affect mood and ultimately, your behaviors. I am excited to team up with you toward your healthy goals!
