Great to meet you!

A lot of people who find their way to therapy struggle with anxiety that follows them everywhere, old trauma that keeps resurfacing, or a sense that life isn't quite where they want it to be. Whether you're a teenager working through big questions about who you are, or an adult carrying depression, OCD, PTSD, or relationship strain, you don't have to keep figuring it out alone. As a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master's Degree in Counseling from Oakland University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Michigan, I'll work with you to get clarity on what's really in the way — and build a path forward that actually fits your life.

My approach to therapy

My approach is based on realistic data driven outcomes and patient satisfaction. It is warm, creative, and solution-focused. With 24+ years of experience across inpatient psychiatry, residential, and outpatient settings, I use a variety of evidence-based treatment methods to create realistic, measurable progress tailored to your unique needs. I also draw from my own real-life experience as a dedicated family man, and father.

What you can expect from me

The first meeting will focus on getting to know YOU and what you're looking for from the therapy experience. If you've been on the fence about starting, I'd gently encourage you to take that first step. We'll spend time clarifying what you hope to gain from therapy — at your pace and on your terms. I offer virtual sessions and accept a number of insurance plans.
