Great to meet you!

I help individual adults between 18-65 to regain control of their lives after suffering traumatic events; including but not limited to: past child abuse, physical/sexual/domestic abuse/assaults, combat deployments, spiritual/religious abuse, and more. Now serving Oregon and the Rogue Valley, Ashland, Medford, and Grants Pass area.

My approach to therapy

I begin by helping you with the top stressors that are disrupting your life by using a solution-focused approach. As we process through later sessions, we explore how those stressors can be tied to past events. Later we will identify any problematic thought patterns that have kept you suffering this whole time using Cognitive Behavior Therapy. Remember: you only get out of therapy what you put into it. Don’t be afraid to talk about the difficult part no matter how embarrassing. This is a judgement free zone and your safe space!

What you can expect from me

The first session is a meeting where I get a “big picture” snapshot of what has happened throughout your history. I then build us an effective treatment plan using a combined biological, psychological, and social lens. It is helpful to know the goal you want to achieve the most f therapy during this session. If you don’t know, I can help you find it through this process.
