Great to meet you!

Helping a teen or young adult navigate anxiety or depression can feel overwhelming—for both the individual and their parents. I specialize in working with adolescents and young adults ages 13–22, supporting them through challenges like anxiety, depression, stress, and emotional overwhelm while also actively involving parents in the process.

Anxiety and depression don’t improve through insight alone—they require active, consistent work using new skills. I help people learn practical tools to manage anxious thoughts, regulate emotions, and change patterns that keep them stuck.

My approach is practical and relational. I help people:

  • Open up and communicate more effectively
  • Manage anxiety, stress, and emotional overwhelm
  • Re-engage with school, activities, and family life

I also work closely with parents. You’ll get guidance on how to respond to your child in ways that reduce conflict/power struggles, calm them down and rebuild connection.

If your teen or young adult is struggling, it can be hard to know what to do next—and just as hard to watch them go through it. Change is possible with the right support and tools. When you’re ready, I welcome you to reach out and take that next step.

My approach to therapy

A core part of my work is client and parent empowerment - I aim for clients to leave therapy with new skills and greater confidence in handling life's challenges independently. The goal is not long-term dependence on therapy, but helping clients reach a place where they feel equipped to manage difficulties on their own, with therapy serving as a supportive bridge toward autonomy.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to talk about what they are hoping to get out of therapy, and I'll share what you can expect from me as your therapist, including how I work and what sessions typically look like. My goal is to offer full transparency from the start so you feel informed and clear about what working together will involve, allowing you to decide if it feels like a good fit.
