Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm Steven Haag, LMSW. I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with 20 years of experience as a therapist. I work with adults ages 19 and older who are experiencing anxiety, depression PTSD, OCD, substance use concerns, and other life challenges. I understand that taking the first step toward therapy can feel difficult, and i strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, respected, and empowered.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in Person-Centered Therapy and integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Humanistic Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I believe that every individual has the capacity for growth and change, and I work collaboratively with clients to identify their strengths, clarify their goals, and develop practical tools for overcoming obstacles. Together, we will explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck, build effective coping strategies, and create a path towards greater well-being.

What you can expect from me

Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma-related symptoms, obsessive thoughts and compulsive behaviors, or substance abuse challenges, I am committed to meeting you where you are and supporting you at your own pace. My goal is to help you gain insight, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change that aligns with your values and supports a more fulfilling life.
