Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm Steven and I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with 7 years of experience. I specialize in helping clients navigate through Grief and Loss, Trauma/PTSD symptoms, escalated anxiety and depressive symptoms, and relationship stress/anxiety.

My goal as a therapist is to help people reclaim their joy in life and to restore their passion for living. My hope is to help clients improve their overall quality of life by walking alongside them in their journey to be the very best version of themselves. I strive to do this by helping clients feel heard, validated, and by helping them remove barriers to effective thinking and interacting with life.

My approach to therapy

I use the combination DBT, CBT, Solution Focused Therapy, and Relational therapy to help my clients live their lives to the fullest.

What you can expect from me

Clients should expect to feel heard, validated, and to be able to start to open up about their personal story and experiences within a first session and get a sense of if they are going to "vibe" with me as their therapist. This should allow clients to be able to know if they are going to feel safe/comfortable within the therapy setting which should build confidence in helping them reach their identified goals.
