Great to meet you!

I am a licensed psychologist and combat veteran. I blend these worlds to offer a warm, direct approach with gentle challenges and goal-oriented movement. Additionally, I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship. It is my goal to spend time cultivating a space where you feel heard, seen, accepted, supported, challenged, and celebrated. Although my clinical background varies across populations, my passion is working with adults who have experienced prolonged childhood trauma and who are subsequently seeking healing and change for their current adult lives. Moreover, due to my background in the military, I have a special interest in working with veterans and first responders, offering them a space where their culture is understood rather than pathologized.

My approach to therapy

I use an integrative therapy approach that can include person-centered, attachment, cognitive behavioral, and internal family systems-informed therapies cultivated to serve each client's therapeutic needs.

What you can expect from me

From a client's first session, they can expect to experience warmth, acceptance, and understanding. They can expect to leave having clearer therapeutic goals and one or two reasons as to what may be hindering them from achieving their goals previously. Overall, many clients reportedly leave the first session feeling hopeful.
