Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who sees children and adults. I am certified in trauma-focused CBT, dialectical behavior therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and EMDR. I received my bachelor's and master's from the University of Georgia in 2010. I specialize in those who have experienced trauma and are high-achieving, perfectionistic, or suffer from anxiety. I offer a warm, holistic approach focusing on somatic response and reframing negative thought patterns. I see people in person at my office in Clayton, GA, and virtually. I also offer EMDR intensives, which are longer sessions that last a shorter time.

My approach to therapy

I am holistic and always start by examining lifestyle, nutrition, and basic needs. I incorporate mindfulness and yoga into my client approach but lean towards cognitive behavioral therapy. Trauma lives in the body so if we are using EMDR I will also use mindfulness and physical components to regulate your nervous system.

What you can expect from me

I typically set a 12 session goal with objectives we can reach together. I always check in mid way to see how things are going to make sure if we are a good fit and you are getting what you need out of treatment.
