Great to meet you!

I am licensed in California with over 15 years of professional work experience. My studies in social work began with a concentration in Aging and Addictions at the University of Maryland Baltimore County. My Master's was earned here in California at Humboldt State University. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, coping with addictions, lgbt-related issues, trauma and abuse in childhood and/or adulthood.

My approach to therapy

I focus on supporting a diverse population of clients through a person centered approach. Holding a therapeutic relationship driven by client lead goals and values, I often invite clients to explore both thoughts and feelings to better approach healthy ways of coping inside of their human experiences.

What you can expect from me

A client can expect to come away from therapy feeling comfortable. With clear direct communication two people can find understanding. Therapy inevitably can be shameful and guilt evoking in of itself. However, I work towards being free of judgement and treat each person as an individual, a unique human being, having a unique human experience.
