Great to meet you!

I am an LCSW with over 30 years of experience providing safe, compassionate support for those I work with. My belief is that each person has the ability to find their answers and to grow their capacity to navigate life’s challenges with courage and lead a fulfilling, connected life.

My work in grounded in trauma-informed approaches, mindfulness, and creating a safe relationship to explore and transform the beliefs and life experiences that create life challenges. I work with adults experiencing life transitions, relationship issues, anxiety, stress and depression, grief and aging, and lifelong challenges related to trauma.

My approach to therapy

I am trained in a variety of therapy modalities. Each person is unique and I offer a flexible, strengths-based, and collaborative approach that honors the needs and goals of each client. My goal is to help each person discover their own capacity to heal in the ways that work best for them.

What you can expect from me

The first therapy session is a time for us to get to know each other, create a safe place for sharing, and determine if I can be of help. I will listen compassionately to your issues and goals, and share about myself as a therapist, answering any questions you may have. This is a time to ensure that you feel safe and comfortable as you begin therapy.
