Great to meet you!

Very quickly in my career, I developed a passion for helping parents and families improve their communication and deepen their relationships. Sometimes this is individual work: identifying negative patterns, setting boundaries, and working through life and identity shirts. Sometimes this is couples work: creating healthy communication patterns, aligning different parenting styles. I've worked a lot with parenting through crisis, chiefly medical and identity related.

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy and life with warmth, honesty, and humor. I'd love to hear your story. My work is very individualized and begins with understanding your unique story and goals. I incorporate elements of cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, and person centered therapy, among others.

What you can expect from me

While change takes time, most people feel hope and encouragement after the first session as we make room for real change and identify really achievable goals. It's also important to have timelines in therapy - you don't need to be in it forever! We'll work together to identify how you'll know you're ready to move beyond me.
