Dr. Sue Futeral Myrowitz is a two time graduate of the University of Maryland, School of Social work, earning both her Masters and PhD degrees there. Dr Sue is married with 3 adult married children and 6 grand-kids, and they keep me busy!
Dr. Sue Futeral, a Baltimore native is a licensed clinical social worker with 30 + years experience in teaching, research and clinical practice. She earned her BA at Goucher College, and her MSW and PHD from the UMB. . She holds many certifications in techniques such as hypnosis, art therapy, mindfulness, music therapy, and psychodrama. Approach to therapy is trauma informed and SFT/ CBT.
My clients can expect to explore whatever issues they are facing, as I ask lots of questions to focus and problem solve to create my clients enhance the quality of their lives with healthier lifestyles. I believe in the "core Rogerian features: empathy, warmth, genuineness, unconditional positive regard and non-judgemental attitude."
