Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Susannah Beier, PMHNP-C, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with additional certification in Perinatal Mental Health. I provide compassionate virtual care for adults ages 18+ experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, mood disorders, insomnia, and postpartum mental health concerns. My approach is personalized and collaborative, combining evidence-based medication management with supportive therapy to help clients feel heard, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting improvements in their daily lives.

My approach to therapy

I work with adults ages 18+ experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, insomnia, adjustment disorders, prolonged grief, and other mood-related conditions. I also have specialized training in Perinatal Mental Health and enjoy supporting individuals navigating pregnancy, postpartum challenges, infertility, identity shifts, and the emotional demands of parenthood. My approach is best suited for clients looking for collaborative, evidence-based care that combines medication management with supportive therapy and practical coping strategies. I value open communication and believe clients should feel informed, involved, and empowered throughout treatment. I also work closely with therapists and other providers when appropriate to help create a well-rounded and supportive treatment experience. I strive to provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable being honest about their struggles, whether they are navigating everyday stressors, major life transitions, relationship difficulties, emotional regulation challenges, or more severe mental health symptoms. Please note at this time, I do not prescribe controlled substances outside of Florida, Maryland, Washington, or California.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a plan tailored to your needs and goals. We’ll have a supportive, judgment-free conversation about what’s been going on, how your symptoms are affecting your daily life, what treatments or coping strategies you’ve tried in the past, and what you hope to gain from care. I’ll take time to understand the full picture of your mental health, lifestyle, stressors, and strengths while answering any questions you may have along the way. Together, we’ll create a personalized treatment plan that may include medication management, therapy recommendations, lifestyle changes, or supportive strategies to help you feel more balanced, supported, and empowered moving forward.
