Great to meet you!

With over 30 years of experience in the mental health field and 28 years as a licensed counselor, I am passionate about helping individuals of all ages find healing, resilience, and meaning in their lives. You may be my ideal client if you feel overwhelmed by constant worry, emotionally stuck after a painful experience, or weighed down by sadness or hopelessness. You might be doing your best to hold it together—for your family, your work, your future—but feel like you’re falling behind on the inside. Maybe you’ve tried to “just push through” but know it’s time for something different.

My approach to therapy

We’ll identify what’s causing your distress and explore ways to shift patterns that no longer serve you. I offer a calm, safe, and supportive space where you can feel seen and heard without judgment. With practical tools and a steady presence, I’ll help you understand your strengths, develop coping strategies, and create a life you feel connected to.

You don’t have to face this alone. It takes courage to reach out for support, and I honor that step. Whether you’re coming to therapy for the first time or returning after a break, I’m here to walk with you through the process. Healing is possible—and you deserve it. I invite you to connect when you're ready.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to leave a session feeling heard, grounded, and more empowered to navigate their challenges. Drawing on over 30 years of experience and a compassionate, strengths-based approach, I help clients better understand their emotional patterns, reduce the intensity of anxiety or depression, and build practical strategies for coping and healing.

Here’s what clients typically take away:

1. Clarity and Insight

I work to help clients make sense of confusing or overwhelming emotions, identify triggers, and recognize patterns rooted in trauma, stress, or past experiences.

2. A Calmer Nervous System

I often includes grounding techniques and somatic tools that help calm the body and mind—especially useful for those experiencing anxiety, panic, or trauma-related symptoms.

3. Skills and Strategies

Clients leave with personalized tools tailored to their needs—such as ways to manage anxiety, improve mood, set boundaries, or navigate relationships more effectively.

4. Validation and Connection

Mt style is warm and nonjudgmental. Clients often say they feel truly seen and accepted, even when sharing deeply vulnerable parts of themselves.

5. A Sense of Progress and Hope

Whether it’s a small shift in thinking or a significant emotional breakthrough, clients often leave with a sense of movement forward and renewed hope for change.
