Great to meet you!

Life can feel overwhelming when you're dealing with stress, anxiety, unexpected challenges, or major life changes. You may feel stuck, exhausted, or unsure of how to move forward. You don't have to navigate those struggles alone.

I provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can talk openly, gain clarity, and develop practical tools to manage life's challenges. Together, we'll work to reduce stress, anxiety, depression, build resilience, and help you find greater balance, confidence, and peace in your daily life.

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with a Master's degree in Social Work. Throughout my 35-year career in child welfare and human services, I have had the privilege of working with people from many different backgrounds and life experiences. These experiences have deepened my understanding of the challenges individuals and families face and strengthened my belief in each person's capacity for growth and healing.

I too have experienced many life challenges that caring people have supported me through. I am married, I have two adult children, and nine grandchildren.

Whether you're facing anxiety, life transitions, relationship concerns, caregiver stress, or simply feeling overwhelmed, I would be honored to support you on your journey toward greater well-being. Taking the first step toward support can feel difficult, but reaching out is a sign of strength. I welcome the opportunity to connect and find out whether we are a good fit to work together!

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is grounded in the belief that healing and growth happen within a trusting therapeutic relationship. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can openly share your experiences, challenges, fears, and hopes.

I view therapy as a collaborative process. Together, we will explore the concerns that bring you to therapy, identify your strengths, and develop strategies that support your goals and well-being. I recognize that every person is unique, so I tailor my approach to fit your individual needs, experiences, and values!

Whether you are navigating stress, anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, or simply feeling overwhelmed, my goal is to help you gain insight, build resilience, and move toward a more fulfilling and balanced life.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a comfortable, trusting relationship. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where you can share as much or as little as feels right for you!

During our time together, we'll talk about what brings you to therapy, the challenges you're facing, and what you hope to gain from the process. I'll also ask questions about your background and current circumstances so I can better understand your experiences and needs.

There is no pressure to have everything figured out. The first session is simply a starting point. Together, we'll begin identifying your goals and discussing how therapy can support you in moving toward the life you want for yourself.
