Great to meet you!

A dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and Family Nurse Practitioner FNP-C with over 19 years of comprehensive nursing experience, including extensive expertise in mental health care across diverse populations. Known for delivering patient-centered, evidence-based psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment within both outpatient and inpatient settings.

I believe in empowering individual to maintain or improve their mental health through empathetic care, therapeutic communication, and culturally competent practice. My clinical approach emphasizes holistic wellness, trauma-informed care, and interdisciplinary collaboration, with a strong foundation in managing complex psychiatric conditions such as mood disorders, anxiety disorders, PTSD, psychotic disorders, and substance use disorders.

I am passionate about empowering individuals and families through education, early intervention, and accessible mental health services. My approach is warm, respectful, and person-centered. I understand that seeking help for mental health can be a vulnerable step, and my goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered.

Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, or simply need support during a difficult time, I offer personalized care that integrates medication management, holistic health practices, and therapy services when appropriate. I take into account your physical health, lifestyle, and unique life circumstances—because your mental and physical health are interdependent.

If you're ready to take the next step toward feeling better, I’m here to walk that path with you.

My approach to therapy

Before your first appointment, you’ll receive secure digital intake forms to complete online. These forms will request information such as current concerns and symptoms; medication history;

Insurance or payment information, and HIPAA privacy policy.

Your first session is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation conducted via secure video. During this session, we will:

• Discuss your mental health concerns and goals

• Review your medical, emotional, and social history

• Assess for conditions like anxiety, depression, PTSD, or mood disorders

• Explore treatment options, including medication management, therapy, or life coaching

Based on your evaluation, we’ll work together to develop a customized treatment plan. This may include:

• Medication management, if appropriate

• Supportive therapy or talk therapy

• Life coaching for personal or professional challenges

• Referrals for additional support (e.g., therapy, specialty care)

Follow-up visits are scheduled regularly, typically every 2 to 4 weeks initially, and then as needed. During these sessions, we:

• Monitor your progress and symptoms

• Adjust medications if necessary

• Offer supportive counseling and coaching

• Address any questions or concerns you have

Mental health care is a journey. We’ll continue to adjust your treatment plan as your needs evolve. Our goal is to help you:

• Build emotional resilience

• Improve day-to-day functioning

• Feel more in control of your mental health

We're always just a message or call away for support.
