Great to meet you!

Sydney Rosenberg is a Clinical Mental Health Counselor. Sydney graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in clinical mental health counseling and concentration in Expressive Arts Therapy in May of 2021. Her experience has been working with children, adolescents, and adults in outpatient and community based mental health settings. She enjoys supporting clients with building self-esteem, managing life stressors and changes, and empowering clients to find their most authentic selves. She is neurodivergent affirming, LGBTQIA+ affirming, and trauma informed. When she is not working, she enjoys making art, spending time outdoors, and traveling.

My approach to therapy

Sydney’s approach is grounded in the belief that each person has the ability to discover their strengths, find their voice and share their story using creative therapies and client centered approaches. Sydney’s passions lie within using expressive therapies in counseling as a means for expression, self-exploration, collaboration and as a creative avenue for individuals to reach their therapeutic goals.

What you can expect from me

Clients will hopefully build self confidence, build self awareness, and build coping tools and insight through expressive arts and the therapeutic process.
