I obtained my B.F.A. in Theater Arts/ Dance and M.Ed in Counseling Psychology from Howard University and my Advanced Graduate Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Long Island University - Brooklyn Campus.

A bit about my approach to therapy

From a holistic and strength-based approach, my role is to support individuals experiencing a range of psychological and social-emotional concerns, including Life Transitions (High School, College, Career, Mid-life Crisis and Health Issues), Mood Disorders (Depression, Anxiety, Stress, Trauma and PTSD), and Relationships (Personal, Family, and Employment). My treatment orientation integrates Person-centered therapy, SFBT, CBT, ACT, Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing.

What you can expect from our first session

I've worked with various populations including, parole and probation, substance abuse, community based mental health agencies, residential and outpatient programs, at risk youth, group homes, in-home therapy, and state mandated counseling, school and private settings.
