Great to meet you!

Hi! I'm Tammy Christman, LPC and I look forward to meeting with you while supporting your journey toward better mental health and healing.

My approach to therapy

I use a warm but direct approach focusing on client inherent resilience and strength. I work with trauma, disordered eating, anxiety concerns, primarily. I use an eclectic approach which combines the best parts of CBT, ACT, Psychodynamic Therapy, DBT and EMDR in my work with clients. I try to focus on the whole person, body, mind and spirituality.

What you can expect from me

Clients working with me will experience coping strategies from the time we first meet. Over time, through deeper work, my clients tend to realize their inherent resilience and strengths and feel more self trust through their journey. I always tell clients, "self trust is the inherent goal of therapy".
