Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with a master's degree in social work, specializing in mental health and substance abuse. My profession background includes supporting people though hospice, grief, trauma, major life transitions, and times when life feels overwhelming. I bring warmth, honesty, curiosity and a little humor into therapy so you can feel comfortable being yourself, I believe you already have strengths within you even when they may be difficult to recognize.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that you are the expert on your own life. Together, we will explore the experiences, patterns and relationships that may be keeping you stuck while building on the strengths you already possess. I use a trauma-informed and whole person approach, adapting therapy to your individual needs rather than expecting you to fit into one specific method. My goal is to help you better understand yourself and find answers that feel authentic to you.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a welcoming and nonjudgemental space where you can speak openly without feeling ashamed or misunderstood. I will listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and be honest with you while respecting your pace. We may sit with difficult feelings, recognize patterns, develop practical tools, and sometimes use humor when it feels natural. You do not need to have everything figured out before beginning, showing up as you are is enough.
