Great to meet you!

Hello, I’m Tamara Neely, a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with a passion for helping individuals of all ages live healthier, more balanced lives. With a strong clinical background and years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient mental health settings, I provide compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care tailored to your unique needs.

I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and autism spectrum-related concerns, with a particular focus on working with children, teens, and young adults. Whether you're seeking a new diagnosis, medication management, or ongoing psychiatric support, I’m here to walk that path with you.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, patient-centered, and judgment-free. I believe in creating a safe space where you feel heard, respected, and understood. I take the time to understand your full story — not just your symptoms — and work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan that may include psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management, as well as referrals for therapy when needed.

I strive to bridge the gap between science and empathy, combining evidence-based treatments with a holistic understanding of your mental health journey.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you and your concerns in a comfortable, non-judgmental setting. I’ll ask about your symptoms, medical and psychiatric history, and any past treatments to better understand your needs. Together, we’ll set goals for your care and determine the best next steps, whether it’s beginning medication, further evaluation, or discussing therapy options.

By the end of our session, you can expect to feel more informed, supported, and empowered to take the next steps in your mental health journey.
