Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed therapist and the founder of a group private practice, with over a decade of experience supporting women in strengthening their self-esteem, self-worth, and self-relationship. As a woman myself—balancing personal, relational, and professional roles—I bring both clinical expertise and lived understanding to my work. I understand the unique pulls and pressures many women face while navigating modern life, particularly those common to Millennial and Gen Z women.

I work with women who present with many of the everyday challenges women often experience, including struggles with self-confidence, identity, boundaries, relationships, comparison, and maintaining balance across work, personal growth, family, friendships, and romantic life. While stress and overwhelm are often part of what brings clients to therapy, much of our work focuses on building a healthier relationship with yourself—learning to show up with more compassion, confidence, and intention.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from North Carolina A&T State University and my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University–Atlanta. My professional background includes work in private practice, managed care, inpatient and outpatient treatment settings, and community-based services. Since opening my private practice in 2016, I’ve had the privilege of working with hundreds of women through individual therapy, as well as speaking at events and trainings focused on mental health, self-esteem, and self-care. I expanded my practice into a group practice in 2023 and continue to provide a supportive, empowering space for women seeking growth, clarity, and balance.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and empowering. I strongly believe that the therapeutic relationship itself is a powerful catalyst for growth and change, so building trust and rapport is a top priority for me. We will work together to identify your goals for therapy and actively take steps toward meaningful, lasting change.

I use an integrative approach that includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, coaching, accountability, and motivational strategies. I help clients recognize and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthier boundaries, strengthen self-esteem, and make intentional choices that align with who they truly are—not who they feel pressured to be.

Therapy does require effort, honesty, and openness—but you are not doing this alone. We will move at a pace that feels manageable, easing into the difficult topics while making sure you feel supported throughout the process.

What you can expect from me

I offer a free 15-minute consultation before scheduling your first session to ensure we’re a good fit. Many clients—especially those new to therapy—share that this consultation helps reduce nervousness and anxiety, often replacing it with a sense of relief and optimism.

The first session is focused on connection rather than formal assessment. I take time to learn about you and what support looks like for you, while you become familiar with my personality and therapeutic style. This helps us build rapport and a strong therapeutic relationship as we begin exploring what brought you to therapy and what you’re currently navigating.

I’ll listen closely and ask thoughtful questions to gain clarity and understanding, and together we’ll begin identifying goals for therapy. The formal intake and assessments are typically completed during the second session. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful—better equipped to navigate life as it continues to “life."
