Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Tameka Brewington, a licensed mental health and substance abuse therapist with over 25 years of experience helping individuals navigate life’s most complex challenges. I specialize in working with high-achieving professionals, couples, and those facing major life transitions, providing a safe, supportive space to explore healing and growth. My approach is empathetic, results-driven, and tailored to meet your unique needs. Together, we’ll work to help you regain clarity, restore balance, and elevate your mindset.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is integrative, grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Reality Therapy, and Person-Centered Theory. I help clients identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns, take ownership of their choices, and reconnect with their values and goals. I believe in creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. My focus is on practical strategies that foster insight, emotional resilience, and meaningful change. Therapy with me is collaborative, solution-focused, and tailored to each individual’s unique needs and strengths.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients can expect to leave therapy with greater clarity, emotional resilience, and a deeper understanding of themselves. They’ll develop practical tools to manage stress, anxiety, and life transitions, along with strategies to improve relationships and set healthy boundaries. Through our work together, clients often gain a renewed sense of confidence, purpose, and control over their choices. Most importantly, they’ll feel supported, empowered, and equipped to navigate life with intention and authenticity.
