My passion and desire to draw on experiences from my 33-plus-year marriage, including raising four now-adult children, inspired me to return to school and earn a Bachelor’s degree in Christian Counseling. In addition, I earned a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy. I am a licensed clinical professional counselor. I believe that prioritizing mental health provides individuals, families, and couples the best opportunity to experience every season of life with the tools to continue to move forward. I am a certified Prepare-Enrich Couples Therapist with Gottman Level 1 training. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Family Systems, and Solution-Focused Therapy to help individuals, families, and couples reach their therapeutic goals, enhance their relationships, and improve their quality of life.
I create a warm, safe space for clients to process thoughts and emotions. A place for clients to discover their strength and regain courage to take control of their lives. The goal is to help clients take steps to restore hope, balance, and peace.
